Laplacians, electrical networks and self-similar graphs

Starting from a determinant formula that relates different minors of Laplacians, we present an approach for the enumeration of spanning trees by means of electrical network transformations. This is in particular applied to self-similar, fractal-like graphs. Finally, connections to stochastic processes on fractals are discussed.
