A CSASC history of combinatorics and graph theory
Presented by Harald GROPP
Track: Poster Session
In this case a CSASC history is a Catalan Slovenian Austrian Slovak and Czech history starting with the famous Catalan scholar Ramon Llull in the 13th century and followed by a short discussion of combinatorics and graph theory in the last 50 years since the conference of Smolenice in Slovakia in 1963, including the conference of Prachatice in Bohemia in 1990, and the many conferences in Bled in Slovenia since 1991. Of course, not only the conferences will be discussed but also mathematicians and their combinatorics and graph theory involved. Last but not least, the part concerning Austria will be a step back into the 19th century discussing an involved Austrian mathematician.
